Tenryuji-temple
Before converted to a Zen Buddhist temple in 1345, this place was an Imperial villa. UNESCO designated the temple as a World Heritage site in 1994 because of its garden made adding Zen concept to the elegant palace style garden

Gioji-Temple
Located northern Arashiyama, this temple stands in a quite uncrowded place. It is famous for its green moss garden. However, the garden turns to red with red maple leaves in autumn.
